On a sunny day in June 2023, the gorgeous Jack & Ari were married in Suffolk.
The couple chose to hold their ceremony at Bury St Edmunds theatre where 200 guests gathered inside the ornate theatre to witness Jack & Ari say their vows.
It was such a unique venue and certainly the first time a lot of the guests, including myself, had ever been to a wedding ceremony in a theatre. It all felt incredibly intimate and special.
Afterwards the bridal party and all the guests, made their way back to Ari’s family home in Suffolk, a beautiful Old Rectory with magnificent views across the fields.
Guests chatted freely in the garden as drinks and canapés were circulated before heading into the stunning sailcloth marquee for the wedding breakfast.
The brief for the design of the wedding was colourful and it was important to Ari that this was evident throughout the wedding, from the invites to the table plan and everything else in between.
Guests were seated on four rows of tables, adorned with bright pink, purple, yellow and blue flowers in blue & white pots and brightly lit candles. As you looked up, beautiful flower installations created a focal point in the marquee as brightly coloured flowers and ribbons swayed in the breeze.
Once speeches were over and the wedding breakfast had been served, everyone took to the dancefloor to watch Jack & Ari take their first dance together as a newly married couple.
The band belted out tune after tune ensuring everyone danced the night away.
The wedding had so many personal touches – from the wedding invitations and order of service which had been designed and created by one their close friends to the wedding cake which had been lovingly baked and gifted to the couple as a wedding present.
It really was a magical day and very much enjoyed by all.
