Most wedding planners offer flexible levels of service based on whether you need someone to coordinate activities on the day, or to manage the whole wedding planning process from start to finish.
At Papillon Events, we offer both Full Wedding Planning and On the Day Wedding Planning services. Full wedding planning begins with an initial consultation to learn more about your vision, followed by bespoke styling and design to help bring your dream day to life. Supplier sourcing and recommendations are included too, along with handling all the necessary wedding administration and managing your budget effectively. The service also incorporates onsite setup and coordinating arrangements on the wedding day itself. However, if you have already organised the majority of your wedding, but need help to ensure everything runs well on the day, you might prefer to opt for the On the Day service, where we can come onboard six weeks ahead of your wedding to bring together and implement your final plans.
There’s less stress
One of the biggest advantages of hiring a wedding planner is having someone to alleviate the pressure of planning. An experienced wedding planner not only takes care of practical organisation and logistics, but they use their knowledge to anticipate potential hiccups and to make sure plans are in place for all eventualities. For instance, planning a marquee wedding requires a lot of forethought such as ensuring there is an efficient power supply, catering is well-managed and contingencies are in place for a change in weather conditions. Taking on these responsibilities and tasks leaves you free to enjoy the time leading up to your wedding, while having the peace of mind that your wedding day is fully taken care of.
Your creative vision will be realised
If you’re in wedding planning mode, you will no doubt have lots of ideas about the style and design of your big day. A wedding planner helps you develop those early thoughts and inspirations, building on them and offering fresh and original ideas to make your wedding truly unique.
We offer ‘Get Inspired’ sessions for those seeking a little inspiration boost, along with professional planning advice. The sessions help you with all aspects of your wedding, from creating timelines for the day, to picking the perfect style and décor.
Plans stay on track
A wedding planner stays on top of all plans and budgets, keeping you updated throughout. Finding suppliers, negotiating terms and looking over the fine detail of contracts can be time-consuming but inside knowledge and a trusted network of contacts from an experienced planner are often invaluable. Their knowledge and insight allow them to recommend the most suitable suppliers, from marquee companies, florists and caterers to entertainment and photography. Not only this, but they will ensure all supplier arrivals, deliveries and activities are planned to the finest detail.
You can keep calm on the day
Planning a wedding can be nerve-racking and on the day itself those nerves can reach a high. You can rest assured knowing that a wedding planner’s expert eye will pick up on any potential issues, address them early on and cross them off the list, without you having to worry.
When it comes to a day as special as your wedding, enlisting the support of a wedding planner often proves priceless. They will help you make wise choices on your suppliers and budget, breathe life into your design ideas and guide you along the way, leaving you to focus on enjoying your special day.
